El Salvador
04. January 2010 until 13. January 2010

Guidebooks urge visitors to be cautious when travelling through El Salvador because of the high crime rate and the less developed infrastructure compared to other Central American countries. We will remember El Salvador as a striking volcanic landscape with beautiful lakes, stunning panoramic views and the most friendly people we have met so far. Suchitoto means “the place of birds and flowers”. This small colonial town, with its fantastic views of Lake Suchitlan, was our favourite spot in El Salvador.
